A little hello from me and Hamish as we've been quiet lately.... well, busy!

He's one crazy guy. Other dog owners really don't understand this sight hound. He's kind of nuts on his walks and comes across aggressive when really he's frightened and needs constant reassurance and rewards.

Sights and sounds are all a bit too troubling for him, but here in this field which caters to special dogs, he's at his happiest and healthiest, and I'm at my most relaxed.

I was glad to get outside last night and cut back the garden. I have lots of sun loving plants in my front garden from Alstroemeria to Salvias and Sedums so they needed a hard cut back.

It took 5 minutes for me to roll kibble into the ball, and for Hamish, it will now take 15 minutes instead of 15 seconds to eat his food.

In the morning, I throw his kibble into the garden. He enjoys hunting for his food and uses his senses to find it.
